Maria is a Chicago-based developer and visual artist. In 2011 she obtained her B.F.A. in Interactive Arts and Media from Columbia College, Chicago, where she currently teaches courses in programming and web development part-time. During her time there as a student, she was exposed to audio, video, and new media art. While her work is spread among different media, her most recent body of work focuses on the use of film.
